Coming from Haldimand County and based out of Hamilton, Ontario, Brennagh has had a dynamic solo performance career as a singer/songwriter and vocalist. With songs that fall within the roots and folk tradition, she blends hints of nostalgic chords and melodies with contemporary lyrical choices that draw from life experience.
Brennagh is in the midst of preparing for her first North American tour alongside long time friend and popular singer/songwriter Robin Benedict. Visiting 25 states from the east to the west, the south and the mid-west, Brennagh and Robin will be bringing their different styles and unique reflections on life to a large existing fan base that they look forward to growing. Playing intimate shows in a combination of smaller venues and house concerts, they are looking forward to making genuine connections with people and sharing their passion for music.
Working with Rob Lamothe (Riverdogs) as producer, Brennagh recorded her first EP “The Winter Project” and 2 years later self-produced her stripped-down album “Raw”, making the creative choice to record off-the-floor and keep the music as close to live performance as possible. She is currently working on her third album.
Creative collaborations with others lead to a full length album as a member of Leonard, Burns and Dell, and her striking vocals have been featured on albums by artists such as Dave Pomfret and Brandon P. General. A series of exciting side projects have kept her busy over the last few years and she is excited to have the opportunity now to further develop her solo career.
